Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries
• Verify patient information, insurance details, and maintain accurate records
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
• Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
• Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with a high degree of accuracy
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff
• Handle sensitive patient information in compliance with privacy regulations
• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or higher preferred)
• Prior experience in a medical office or administrative role preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Accuracy in patient records, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and billing information is critical to ensuring quality patient care and efficient office operations. Even small errors can impact patient experience, compliance, and reimbursement, making precision a top priority in all daily tasks.
