Associate Attorney

Martin, Ganotis, Brown, Mould & Currie, P.C., is a civil litigation firm whose practice is devoted exclusively to the defense of medical professionals and institutions. Our work defending physicians, hospitals, and other medical professionals and institutions involves actions in New York State Supreme Court venued in nearly all of the Upstate New York counties and in Federal Court. We also represent individuals in matters involving professional discipline initiated by various government agencies including the New York State Department of Health and the Office of Professional Medical Conduct. The firm's attorneys have successfully defended through trial cases involving virtually every medical specialty and all degrees of complexity and severity. Role Description & Qualifications We are seeking a candidate who is admitted to practice in New York with 1-4 years of experience. We have a small firm culture but the active and growing practice of a much larger firm. The associate will work directly with several experienced trial attorneys and will receive personalized training and feedback. Associates are not required, or even asked, to bring in work. The attorney will be trained on every aspect of civil litigation, including drafting and reviewing paper discovery, attending and conducting depositions, trial practice, and appearing in court.
