Job Summary

SitterTree is seeking caring and dependable Child Care Providers for a church in Knoxville, Tennessee . Caregivers will provide child care during Sunday services and church activities from September 13 through December 27, 2026 .

This is a flexible opportunity—you can work one Sunday, several Sundays, or all available dates based on your availability.

Schedule & Pay

• Dates: September 13 – December 27, 2026

• Day: Sundays

• Hours: 3:45 PM – 5:15 PM EDT

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children during church services and activities

• Provide a safe, positive, and nurturing environment

• Engage children in age-appropriate games, activities, and play

• Follow church and SitterTree safety guidelines

• Communicate professionally with parents and church staff

• Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• Previous babysitting or child care experience preferred

• Dependable, responsible, and punctual

• Friendly and comfortable working with children

• Ability to provide a safe and engaging environment

• Must meet applicable SitterTree screening and background-check requirements

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check
• Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare, preschool, or early learning center teacher, etc.
• Experience with infant and toddler care including diaper changing, naptimes, bottle feeding, etc.
• Strong understanding of child development

• First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric
