Housekeeping Assistant

Location: Hanover Nursing and Rehab | Hanover, PA
Position Type: Full-Time, Every other weekend

Hanover Nursing and Rehab is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily housekeeping duties, including but not limited to:
- Dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting
- Polishing surfaces
- Emptying wastebaskets
- Cleaning and replenishing supplies
- Sweeping and mopping floors
Follow established cleaning schedules and infection control procedures
Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and appropriately
Maintain a neat, sanitary, and hazard-free environment throughout the facility

Qualifications

Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance, or a related field preferred
Familiarity with cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and attention to detail
