Construction Project Manager

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with the preconstruction team to develop work scopes, solicit bids, conduct scope reviews and negotiate subcontracts Communicating with clients on project issues to assure client satisfaction Develop and maintain overall project schedules; work with all parties to avoid delays Assure the timely review/processing of submittals, pay applications and other project documentation Manage Subcontractors; coordinate/communicate with subs in a professional manner Prepare project reports, including cost reports, monthly reports and schedule updates Facilitate RFI resolution with Owner and design team Oversees change order management process Responsible for the overall project financial management Support project team on overall project requirements Support bid pursuits, proposal preparation and new client development Develops and adheres to project quality control plan Collaborates with the design team from project initiation to completion

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS:

Engineering or Construction Management undergraduate degree required 7+ years Project Management experience on commercial/institutional projects Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with project management, trade contractors, architects and engineers and the ability to resolve issues with minimal supervision. Experience with bidding work, developing work scopes, subcontractor management project scheduling and cost reporting required. Microsoft Office Suite required Procore and CMiC knowledge a plus Knowledge of Building Information Modeling, Revit software desired. Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Wight & Company offers excellent benefits and a wonderful work environment.
