TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Richardson, Texas, 75082!

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required. License: Current license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required. Must-Have: On-call required for weekdays and weekends. Travel experience required. Patient ratio experience of 1:1 preferred. Charge experience preferred. Description: Responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Must have experience with activated clotting time, angioplasty, central venous access, and procedural sedation management. Will monitor patients during sedation and assist in procedures such as nephrostomy, paracentesis, and pulmonary embolization. Knowledge of radiation and laser safety protocols is essential. Candidates must be proficient in using Epic for charting. Expected to work approximately 10-12 days each month including call coverage. Weekend coverage is required with a minimum of one full weekend per month. Must adhere to facility policies and procedures regarding patient care and documentation. Candidates with military experience are accepted. Billable modules may be required prior to starting the position. All requests for time off must be approved in advance. Must have a state-issued ID prior to beginning the role. Candidates living within a specified radius will be considered local. Medical or religious exemptions for the flu vaccine are allowed.
