Description: The position is for a CT Tech. The shift consists of 4x10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday. Start and end times may vary by +/- 2 hours based on unit needs. No call obligation is required. All time off requests must be included with the submission. The facility is allowed to call off one shift per two weeks. Candidates must be available to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract, in rotation with staff. First-time travelers are not accepted. Local candidates are not accepted. Preparation and/or administration of contrast media is required. Knowledge of radiation safety is essential. Travelers may be required to float to an alternate location. This facility is an acute care teaching hospital with over 700 licensed beds. It is a Level I Trauma Center and recognized as a certified stroke center. Previous charge experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred. Candidates must have previous travel experience. The role requires skills in various CT imaging procedures and techniques. Candidates should be familiar with patient care across all age groups. Compliance documents are due prior to the start of employment. Travelers must work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment, with additional holiday requirements during winter. Candidates located within 100 miles of the facility will be considered local and are not accepted. Previous employees must have been gone for a minimum of one year to return as travelers. Note: There are specific policies regarding reapplication for travelers based on previous assignments. Modules are billable and will be paid upon receipt of approved hours from the facility.
