Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients through comprehensive evaluations and physical assessments to establish individualized rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate advanced therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and pain management strategies.
• Provide hands-on therapy to an average of 7 patients per day, focusing on enhancing their functional abilities and independence.
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises and home programs to support ongoing recovery efforts.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to participate in patient care meetings and contribute to comprehensive care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center serves a diverse patient population including individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic pain, neurological disorders, and orthopedic injuries. You will have the opportunity to work closely with adults across various age groups, tailoring your approach to meet each patient's unique clinical needs. Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist License in the State of New York.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Master's or Doctorate preferred).
• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong foundation in rehabilitative care.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate patients effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, essential for maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, based on experience and qualifications.
