About the Role:

Steve Hay Sole Prop is looking for a skilled Commercial Plumber to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial buildings and facilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan plumbing layouts

Inspect and troubleshoot plumbing systems, identifying and resolving issues efficiently

Install and service commercial-grade pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems

Ensure all work meets local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards

Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on job sites

Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness

Requirements:

Proven experience as a commercial plumber or journeyman plumber

Valid California Plumbing License or Journeyman certification preferred

Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and regulations

Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions
