Citarella, The Ultimate Gourmet Market, is seeking Full-Time CDL DRIVERS to join our growing family! We are seeking individuals whose interest and passion for driving and food are as unparalleled as our commitment to superb customer service and quality food. MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY. Schedule is varied. We are offering a SIGN‑ON BONUS of up to $3,500 for all CDL Drivers (must meet all requirements‑ payments will be distributed during a specified timeline). Role and Responsibilities Our drivers are responsible for the transportation of products from the distribution center to Citarella's stores locations: Transport store product to multiple store locations Assist in loading and unloading of merchandise. Understand and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations in respect to driving policies. Communicate with dispatcher and store managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries Ensure refrigeration and proper temperatures are maintained in the trucks Qualifications and Requirements Minimum 2-3 years' experience driving straight trucks CDL Class A/B driver's license Must have open availability work including nights, early mornings, holidays, weekend Professional driving experience in NYC (Manhattan), Long Island and Connecticut (Preferred but not required) Clean driving record is a must Preferred skills: Prior experience in a food/ retail company is a plus. Bi‑lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
