SUMMARY

Our Meat Cutters provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Market 32/Price Chopper customers. Responsible for cutting all meat in accordance with trim specifications and guidelines. Ensures the quality and freshness of the meat products cut for display in the meat case to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Responsible for providing excellent customer service and courtesy on an ongoing basis. Must adhere to all corporate and state sanitation and safety procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver fast, friendly, and helpful customer service at all times. Maintain a clean, organized workstation following 5S standards Cut and prepare meat using tools such as knives, saws, grinders, and cubers. Accurately wrap, weigh, and label meat products Follow all company standards for meat presentation and case layout Ensure compliance with sanitation, food safety, and temperature guidelines Receive and handle incoming meat deliveries efficiently Help reduce product loss by following shrink control procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to pass a cutting test. Satisfactory Performance Reviews. Strong communication skills. Basic Literacy Skills. Basic Computer skills.
