The Human Resources Generalist leads numerous projects and initiatives across a wide range of HR responsibilities. These include but are not limited to onboarding, employee relations, performance management, employee communications, training & development, employee engagement, and legal & compliance issues. The Human Resources Generalist will be able to be independent when completing their work and have a proactive approach to the role.

• Onboarding and offboarding of employees
• Coordinate the full recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring
• Complete verification of employment and state unemployment information requests and reports
• Manage and maintain employee files
• Process bimonthly payroll for employees
• Help with administrating ongoing performance review processes
• Collaboration with the leadership team to improve employee experience and engagement
• Support annual open enrollment and benefits administration
• Involvement in planning employee events
• Implement and administer company policies/Employee Handbook and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
• Coordinate leave of absence programs
• Stay current with trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources
• Answers questions regarding human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards for new and existing employees
• Assist with employee communication initiatives in support of a positive culture and work environment
• Support HR in implementing programs to help improve employee experience
• Support certified payroll and prevailing wage requirement documents
• Other job duties and projects as required

KPI's for the role: • Offboarding exiting employees within 1 business day 100% of the time • Maintains 100% accurate payroll records • Responding to job candidate emails or phone calls and messages within 1 business day
