JOB SUMMARY:

Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting or have at least 5 years accounting experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows. Must be self‑motivated and able to work in a team environment. Must be able to work in stressful situations and meet specific timelines set by Management. Strong communication skills required and willingness to help others.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Prepare, upload and review daily posted journal entries. Check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by others and adjust differences in posted financial information. Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly tax returns and assist in meeting gaming compliance requirements. Prepare month‑end balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate backup for assigned accounts within specified timelines. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The work is sedentary. The employee may sit comfortably for the majority of work at a desk. Walking, standing, bending, and carrying items such as reams of paper or books, and occasionally lifting moderately heavy office record boxes up to 40 lbs may be required. General office cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, and garbage removal up to 20 lbs, are also required.

WORK CONDITIONS:

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, residences, or commercial vehicles. Employees must observe safe work practices with office equipment, avoid trips and falls, and adhere to fire regulations and traffic signals.
