Certified RN Anesthetist $30,000.00 SIGN ON BONUS

Reports to: Chief of Nursing


FLSA Classification: Exempt, Salary, $220,000.00 - $280.00.00


Essential Functions

• Conduct patient exams to assess patient health needs and problems.
• Implement physician's orders, such as performing treatments, starting IVs, administering medications, and interpreting tests.
• Obtain informed consent.
• Prepare and administer medication and anesthesia for patients.
• Maintain patient anesthesia levels during procedures.
• Oversee patient safety and recovery from anesthesia after a procedure.
• Educate patients and families about their surgery and recovery.
• Provide acute pain management services.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.

Education and Experience

• Current unencumbered Colorado License required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Graduate degree in nurse anesthesia required.
• Current CRNA certification required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC and/or PALS required within six (6) months of hire or transfer.

Call back Reasons

- Any anesthesia/surgery related issues; e.g. need to reintubation, return to surgery, acute pain management.
- Mass casualty.
- Trauma.
- Difficult airway.
- Conscious sedation for closed reduction for dislocated joints.
- Conscious sedation reason unspecified.
- Epidural blood patch.
