Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist III - Float at Lenexa, KS! This is a 3+ months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist III - Float

Location: Lenexa, KS 66219

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday Day Shift (CST) | Availability between 6:30 AM – 8:00 PM (8–10 hour shifts)
Flexibility Required: Must be available between 6:00 AM–4:00 PM depending on coverage location

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $25 - 28/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Note:
1. Candidate must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record.
2. Floaters are eligible to submit mileage between work locations for expense reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture, capillary collections, and specimen processing following established laboratory procedures.
• Collect, label, and prepare specimens accurately for laboratory testing.
• Verify patient identification, demographic information, and specimen labeling after collection.
• Explain collection procedures to patients while providing compassionate, professional care.
• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Follow company policies, quality standards, HIPAA guidelines, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and promote a positive patient experience.
• Travel between multiple Patient Service Centers and physician office locations as business needs require.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the area supervisor.
  

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required .
• Experience with:
• • Pediatric collections
  • Geriatric collections
  • Capillary collections

Note: Local candidates within 20-25 miles are eligible.
