Post position for General, will not be doing neuro or ortho cases

• OR Beds: 21


• Experience: 2 years


First-time traveler: Further approval/evaluation from hiring supervisor; Would not recommend for first time travelers


• Patient Ratios:


• 1:1


• Required Certifications:


• RN: BLS


• Required Skills: Please ask amount & frequency of specified cases below


• General: Breasts/Plastics, Vascular, Laparoscopic, General Oncology, Genitourinary (GU), Gynecology (GYN), Abdominal XI Robots


• Support on the Unit :


• Charge Nurse, Leads, Supervisors, Manager


• Charting System/Equipment:


• EPIC


• Alaris


• Pyxis


• Floating:


• Cross trained to all Main OR & Urology center but no floating to other hospitals.


• Orientation:


• 1-1 ½ weeks depending on Team and shift: (Subject to change based on unit needs)


• Scheduling:


• Variable start times for Day shift (Anywhere between 5:30am-7am)


• Weekend rotation: Covered with call


• Can we approve time off? Check with hiring supervisor


• On Call


• 30 min response time


• General (8 Week call schedule)


- 2230-0700: 5-8 slots


- 1-2 Weekends, 12-hour shifts (Saturday & Sunday)

• Holiday Expectations: If Agency wants more information, please contact hiring supervisor

• Scrub Color: Surgical scrubs provided by hospital; Scrub caps allowed but needs to be covered by a surgical bouffant


• Parking: Free Parking; Days-Detached lot, 2 blocks away; PMs-Lot attached to hospital
