This role will help direct and develop process, projects and activities that lead to and support the growth of RGA's business in the assigned function. Partner with leaders to ensure the execution of all activities cross-functionally to drive future growth.What You Will DoProvide broad support to senior leadership, EVPs, and function leadership on a day-to-day basis. Prepare the EVP for all critical external and internal trips, speeches, meetings and other matters as they arise. Manage critical activities, prioritize demands, and provide counsel to the Leaders of assigned function on all areas of developed strategy.Oversight of budget controls and total expense alignment, evaluates monthly reports for trending.Work with the Senior Leadership Team on all key events and communication, including, but not limited to, Quarterly Results/Board/Investor Day presentations, annual planning/goal setting, Employee Engagement action planning, etc.Support business planning and risk management including; but not limited to budgeting, prioritization, efficiency/effectiveness review and workforce planning.Build relationships across various stakeholders to enable the business to achieve its objectives and to ensure initiatives are executed as planned in a properly controlled mannerAssist in prioritization, implementation and measurement of key priorities, goals, and targets for the businessLead and execute multiple, often quick-turnaround, small to large projectsDrive, manage, and support development of materials for team meetings and senior management business unit reviewsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Finance/Accounting, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics or related field required7+ Years of experience in insurance/reinsurance field interfacing with and influencing senior /executive requiredHighly collaborative with strong facilitation and listening skills requiredExceptional ability to organize thoughts and professionally developed presentations. requiredAbility to work well in an environment with multiple concurrent projects, cyclical work flow and, demanding time frames requiredPeople management skills, demonstrating the ability to lead, including the ability to delegate key areas of responsibility requiredAdvanced level of research, analytical, and problem solving skills requiredAdvanced oral and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey business terminology that is meaningful and well received requiredChange management skills requiredAbility to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines requiredAdvanced persuasion and negotiation skills when working with internal/external customers to resolve issues/problems requiredWhat You Can Expect From RGA:Gain valuable knowledge from and experience with diverse, caring colleagues around the world.Enjoy a respectful, welcoming environment that fosters individuality and encourages pioneering thought.Join the bright and creative minds of RGA, and experience vast, endless career potential.We're excited to get to know you and connect your unique skills with our global opportunities. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
