Inventory Control Specialist

Create-A-Pack Foods is currently seeking an Inventory Specialist. Create-A-Pack Foods is a food co-packer and manufacturer located in beautiful Lake Country Wisconsin with locations in both Ixonia and Oconomowoc. Over the past 25+ years, Create-A-Pack has grown from an entrepreneurial vision to a multimillion dollar operation that employs over 200 local employees. Responsibilities Champion labeling accuracy, lot accuracy, weight accuracy, and FIFO compliance with the assistance of system generated reports Generate reporting from ERP system as needed Address individuals with inaccuracies and process deviations in real time and report to supervisors where patterns are developing Review MSR for future production and communicate shortage to appropriate personnel Work with purchasing and receiving to ensure just in time materials are scheduled appropriately and on time Perform & delegate inventory cycle counts as needed Maintain quality standards, conditions, and/or specifications throughout the entire plant system Report and/or document any quality related deviations to the appropriate personnel Avoid contamination whenever possible Follow food quality and safety guidelines Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Lift up to 50 lbs sparingly and for sustained amounts of time Candidate must be self-motivated, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision Create-A-Pack Foods is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer - minority/female/disability/veteran. #J-18808-Ljbffr
