Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities
  • Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety while explaining each stage of the process with a warm, compassionate touch
  • Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians, ensuring the delivery of high-caliber diagnostic images
  • Operate and maintain our advanced imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
  • Meticulously document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical system
  • Stay informed about emerging ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices
Education Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
  • Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
Certifications Required
  • Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
Skills Needed
  • Solid technical prowess in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a strong patient-centered approach
