Position Overview We are excited to welcome a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to our expanding team of healthcare professionals committed to excellence. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct various diagnostic procedures, proactively engage with a collaborative medical team, and provide reassurance to patients through timely and precise imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety while explaining each stage of the process with a warm, compassionate touch
- Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians, ensuring the delivery of high-caliber diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain our advanced imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
- Meticulously document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay informed about emerging ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Solid technical prowess in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
