Schedule Night shifts, 3x12 hours. Job Description The Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care by delivering intensive respiratory care and facilitating patient transport as medically prescribed. Working within the scope of professional license and with minimal supervision, the therapist evaluates patients and recommends individualized treatment plans, explaining procedures and treatments effectively to patients and providing necessary education upon discharge. Responsibilities Conduct routine physician-prescribed treatments using various ventilatory equipment and oxygen delivery systems. Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning using appropriate methods. Monitor patients through oximetry and capnography according to policy. Review patient's chest x-rays and perform basic pulmonary function studies. Assist with respiratory care-related procedures, including bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care, and more. Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation following BLS and ACLS guidelines. Maintain accurate respiratory therapy records and communicate findings with physicians. Participate in equipment maintenance and data entry related to therapy. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Candidate must possess a valid respiratory therapy license and appropriate certifications as required in the healthcare facility. Why ARMStaffing?
