Packaging Technician

Job TitleJob Overview:Pay Range: $15.00hr - $20.00hrRequirement/Must Have:2+ years of manufacturing experience.Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.Quality-conscious mindset.Equipment and process troubleshooting skills.Basic math and computer skills.High School diploma.Responsibilities:Perform duties associated with labeling, inspecting, and packaging of products.Operate packaging equipment ensuring target line rates are met.Collaborate effectively with other functional groups to ensure production goals are achieved and completed in a timely manner.Operate packaging equipment including labelers, pick and place, heat tunnel, vision systems, and forklifts.Inspect product accurately and efficiently to meet quality guidelines.Perform equipment change-over and set-up.Conduct initial troubleshooting for packaging equipment issues.Ensure proper cGMP documentation is followed for completeness and adherence to procedures in a timely manner.Read, understand, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.Prepare QA Line clearances.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Maintain facilities and equipment as required by Standard Operating Procedures.Cross-train in other areas within the department as required to meet business needs.Communicate processing needs to co-workers.Communicate progress and process occurrences to the shift line leader or supervisor.Monitor processes against manufacturing records, data capture forms, and Standard Operating Procedures.Participate in Daily Performance Reviews.Complete batch tickets with materials consumed during execution.Provide feedback regarding the feasibility of proposed improvements.Adhere to defined process sequences.Demonstrate a commitment to the HSE Program and work in a safe and responsible manner.Identify and report unsafe work habits, conditions, or practices.Nice To Have:5+ years of related experience.Forklift certification.Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.Skills:MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE.EQUIPMENT TROUBLESHOOTING.DETAIL ORIENTATION.EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION.QUALITY CONSCIOUSNESS.Qualification And Education:High School diploma.Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to lift 35 lbs.
