Must-Have Skills/Experience: Previous behavioral health experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

Description: Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions with physicians, nursing supervisors, managers, and co-workers as appropriate. Participate in the discharge planning process. Work with both adult and pediatric care populations. Common diagnoses and treatments include schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety. Dress code: Scrubs required. This position includes rotating weekend hours and float requirements.
