Software Engineer - Senior Level Why This is an Exciting Role: As a Software Engineer - Senior Level at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will be responsible for: Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements Contributing to cutting edge development programs and designing new solutions Innovating RF signal processing applications Developing analytics, visualization and discovery tools Integrating new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components What Makes BI&A Different: As a fully owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, BI&A offers an optimal mix of a small company environment with exceptional opportunities supported by a large corporation. Experience and Qualifications: To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications: Required Education and Years of Experience: At least fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer or related field Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph Demonstrated experience with RF signal processing applications Proficiency working in Linux development environments Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools Experience with GitLab, GitHub, or similar version control tools Desired Qualifications Experience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) programming Experience with geospatial processing Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays Telework/Remote Availability: Telework/Remote work currently not authorized Work Location(s): Annapolis Junction, MD Contingent Upon Program Award: The position is contingent upon program award Summary Pay Range: Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only.
