About the Position

Position Overview 

One of our Partners in Northern New York is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for a long-term locum tenens opportunity offering a consistent schedule, strong compensation, and a desirable four-day workweek.

This assignment focuses primarily on outpatient cardiology, stress test supervision, and occasional inpatient consultative services. Providers will enjoy a predictable Monday–Thursday schedule, Epic EMR, and the opportunity to establish continuity within an established cardiology practice.

The ideal candidate is comfortable practicing independently, enjoys community-based medicine, and can commit to approximately three weeks per month over a 6–9 month assignment.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage outpatient cardiology patients
• Supervise cardiac stress testing
• Interpret cardiovascular diagnostic studies
• Provide longitudinal cardiac care
• Participate in occasional inpatient consultative services
• Provide occasional after-hours call coverage
• Read nuclear stress test studies when qualified
• Coordinate care with primary care providers and specialists
• Complete documentation within Epic EMR
