This contract opportunity offers the chance to support students, families, and educational staff—all while developing meaningful professional relationships and contributing to a nurturing school environment.

This position runs from your start date through June 16, 2027, with caseloads assigned based on the unique needs of each school or program. There are immediate openings for part-time positions as well as a full-time, long-term substitute role beginning mid-October and continuing until mid-April.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure and any required school social worker credentials
• Prior experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to work onsite and handle a dynamic, evolving caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and intervention services to students dealing with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Conduct assessments and collaborate with educators, parents, and community partners to create and implement support plans
• Lead individual and group counseling sessions as needed
• Assist with crisis management and conflict resolution
• Support initiatives promoting positive school climate and student well-being
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policy
