Key Qualifications:

• Experience supporting children or adolescents, preferably in educational or youth-related settings
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff
• Understanding of classroom dynamics and instructional strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in education or related fields is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support to students during classroom activities and instruction
• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and accommodations
• Foster a nurturing, respectful atmosphere that encourages student engagement
• Supervise students in various school settings, including classrooms, lunchrooms, and playgrounds
• Support students with special needs under the guidance of specialized staff
• Document observations and collaborate in team meetings regarding student progress
• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure a smooth, supportive learning environment
