Our client, one of the nation's largest investment and securities firms, is looking to hire an accomplished and visionary Global Vice President of Human Resources to lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide people strategies across a complex, multinational organization. This executive leader will be responsible for aligning human capital initiatives with business objectives while driving organizational effectiveness, talent growth, employee engagement, and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and play a critical role in shaping company culture, strengthening leadership capability, and building scalable HR programs that support growth across diverse markets and business units.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global people strategy that supports corporate objectives and long-term growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to drive organizational design, workforce planning, succession strategies, and business transformation efforts.
• Lead enterprise-wide change management initiatives related to expansion, restructuring, acquisitions, and integration activities.
• Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, diversity, and employee engagement across all regions and business entities.

Talent Management & Leadership Development

• Oversee global talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, and succession planning programs.
• Establish leadership development frameworks that strengthen management capabilities and support future business needs.
• Design performance management strategies that drive accountability, employee growth, and business outcomes.
• Create career development programs that enhance employee retention and internal mobility.

Total Rewards & Employee Experience

• Direct the development and administration of competitive compensation, incentive, and benefits programs across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure reward strategies remain market-competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead initiatives that enhance employee well-being, engagement, and overall workplace experience.

HR Operations & Compliance

• Oversee global HR operations, payroll governance, HR systems, workforce analytics, and employee records management.
• Ensure compliance with international labor regulations, employment laws, privacy requirements, and industry-specific standards.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to mitigate employment-related risks and strengthen governance practices.
• Develop policies and procedures that support consistency while accommodating regional regulatory requirements.

Technology & Workforce Analytics

• Drive optimization and modernization of HR technology platforms, including HRIS, talent management, and workforce planning systems.
• Leverage workforce analytics and business intelligence tools to inform strategic decision-making and improve organizational effectiveness.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled HR solutions, to enhance productivity and employee experience.

Leadership & Team Development

• Build, mentor, and inspire a global HR leadership team capable of supporting a dynamic and rapidly evolving organization.
• Foster collaboration across regional HR teams to ensure consistent execution of enterprise priorities.
• Establish performance standards and development opportunities that promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field required.
• Master's degree, MBA, or advanced HR-related degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive human resources leadership experience, including oversight of international HR functions.
• Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR, or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading HR strategy within large, multi-location, or multinational organizations.
• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, organizational restructuring, and enterprise change initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of global employment regulations, compensation structures, workforce planning, and talent management practices.
• Experience with enterprise HR technology platforms such as Workday, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar systems.
• Proven ability to utilize workforce data and analytics to support strategic business decisions.
• Knowledge of emerging HR technologies, automation, and AI-driven workforce solutions.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Financial services, banking, asset management, or highly regulated industry experience preferred.
