Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Detail-oriented Accountant to manage payables and receivables for multiple locations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Accounts Payable · Accurately and timely process and code invoices daily · Obtain proper approvals as needed · Scan/index supplier invoices · Process weekly check runs, including mailing checks to suppliers · Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues · Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries · Maintain company credit card system · Monthly reconciliation of accounts payable · Monthly accruals & journal entries · Continuous improvement activity · Other activities as assigned ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Accounts Receivable · Daily processing of customer invoices · Obtain proper documentation for each shipment · Scan/Index shipping documentation · Accurately and timely process and code invoices · Monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable · Monthly accruals & journal entries · Continuous improvement activity · Other activities as assigned NECESSARY SKILLS * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure * Attention to detail and accuracy * High level organization skills * Comfortable going to production floor * An associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or another relevant field is required. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
