Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) in a healthcare environment. This role involves ensuring the sterilization and proper handling of medical equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques, and maintaining compliance with infection control standards. The position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts at an off-site facility, supporting surgical and diagnostic procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license; at least 1 year of experience in sterile processing or related field.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in acute hospital OR, ambulatory surgery center, or certification through the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA).
• Special Skills: Aseptic technique, biological indicators, chemical sterilization, sterilization equipment operation (e.g., ultrasonic cleaners, washers/sterilizers), instrument tray assembly, proper wrapping and labeling, sterilization testing/monitoring, and use of sterilization wrapping procedures.
• Additional Information: Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities; commitment to working holiday shifts (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day) is required. All scheduling and RTO requests must be included at time of submittal. Only submittals to one facility at a time within the specified radius are permitted.
