Entry‑Level Reverse Logistics Supervisor - Olathe, KS Are you a recent engineering graduate looking to start your career where hands‑on problem solving, leadership, and supply chain meet product engineering? Join our Olathe DSC as an entry‑level Reverse Logistics Supervisor and grow into a technical and people leader. In this role you’ll learn refurbishment and returns processing, lead a small team, use lean tools to improve flow, and work closely with procurement, engineering, product management, and sales to recover returned products safely, on time, and cost‑effectively. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status. What You Will Do Lead and coach a refurbishment and returns‑processing team to meet daily production, quality, safety, and customer‑service goals. Train associates to inspect, sort, troubleshoot, and diagnose returned products and determine parts/materials needed for repairs. Support inventory accuracy through transactional work, audits, and coordination with procurement to resolve material outages. Gather and analyze data, track KPIs, and report performance to drive continuous improvement (lean problem solving). Present team status during MDI/Gemba walks and contribute to KPI and annual objective setting. Manage basic workforce records (time, attendance, PTO), provide feedback, and help resolve performance or conduct issues in partnership with HR. Maintain a safe, engaged, and positive work environment and follow company policies and procedures. Hands‑on troubleshooting and interpreting engineering drawings/BOMs to support refurbishment work. What You Will Need To Succeed Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering (recent graduates encouraged to apply). Demonstrated problem‑solving skills from coursework, capstone projects, internships, or co‑ops. Strong PC skills, especially Excel; comfortable with basic data analysis and reporting. Ability to read and apply layered engineering drawings and BOMs and understand mechanical function. Strong communication skills and a desire to coach and lead others. Comfortable working hands‑on in a manufacturing/distribution environment and dealing with ambiguity. Nice To Have (preferred) Internship, co‑op, or up to 2 years’ experience in manufacturing, distribution, or electronics refurbishment. Experience with material management, production planning, purchasing, or cross‑functional coordination. Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement tools.
