Our client is recruiting for a Full-Time MRI Technologist to join our client's esteemed MRI team in Southwest Connecticut, near the New York border. This community healthcare facility is known for its collaborative environment and commitment to patient care excellence.
Job Details:
- Position: ARRT(R)(MR) Certified MRI Technologist
- Schedule Options: Multiple day schedules available: 3x12s & 4x10s
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce clear and precise diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during MRI procedures.
- Follow physician orders and protocols for imaging examinations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Perform regular maintenance and calibration of MRI equipment.
Qualifications:
- ARRT(R)(MR) certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in MRI.
- Valid Connecticut state licensure as an MRI Technologist.
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist; experience with GE Scanners is a plus.
- Strong understanding of MRI procedures, anatomy, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
