Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team on a part-time basis. As a Medical Assistant at On Demand Drug Testing, you will play a crucial role in supporting our medical professionals and ensuring the seamless delivery of patient care.

Schedule:  Part-time days

Growth Opportunity:  Potential to transition to full-time

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:
   • Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the medical visit.
   • Assist with patient intake, including recording vital signs, medical history, and reason for the visit.
   • Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and addressing inquiries.
2. Clinical Support:
   • Aid healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
   • Administer injections as directed by physicians.
   • Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws and specimen collection.
3. Administrative Tasks:
   • Obtain records and all information needed before patient appointments.
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
   • Schedule appointments, answer phones, and assist with front desk duties as needed.
   • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
4. Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and streamline clinic operations.
   • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
