Labor and Delivery NurseThis position involves working in a labor and delivery setting. The nurse will manage patient care for individuals undergoing labor and delivery. The nurse will participate in the care of antepartum patients and support during high-risk deliveries. Responsibilities include circulating for C-sections, recovering C-section patients, and performing sterile vaginal exams. Nurses are expected to float between similar units as required. The facility experiences a volume of 100-200 births per month. Weekend scheduling requires commitment to every other weekend, totaling four shifts per schedule. All requests for time off must be made upfront during the submission process. Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in contract termination. Communication devices will be provided as required for job duties. Candidates may encounter module completion during the orientation process. Module completion is recorded in transcripts for compliance.
