About the Opportunity Do you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team that keeps things running? At SRM Concrete, we’re looking for a Yard Team Member to help keep our concrete plant clean, safe, and organized. Your Mission & Key Responsibilities Keep the yard and plant areas clean and organized by sweeping, shoveling, and performing general clean-up tasks. Assist with loading and unloading construction materials from trucks and other vehicles. Support plant operations by providing manual labor wherever needed—no two days are the same! Help with routine maintenance tasks like pressure washing, organizing supplies, and general upkeep. Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, and let your supervisor know when we’re running low. Follow all safety policies and procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Take on other duties as assigned to help keep the plant running efficiently. What Sets You Apart You have a strong work ethic and enjoy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds. You’re comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather. You’re a team player with good communication skills. Experience as a Yard Team Member, Yard Laborer, Yard Worker, or in construction/landscaping is a plus, but we’re happy to train motivated individuals! You have a basic understanding of construction materials and tools, or you’re eager to learn. You have reliable transportation to and from the work site. You’re willing to follow safety procedures and company protocols. You’re ready to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
