Colorado Licensed Privacy Officer

To provide comprehensive legal counsel on AI governance, data privacy, HIPAA compliance, and cybersecurity risk management, the full-time remote Colorado Licensed Privacy Officer will interface with executive leadership, supervise contract management, and collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance and effective governance. Key responsibilities Lead legal review and negotiation of various IT and vendor agreements, advising stakeholders on associated risks Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks and provide guidance on legal implications of emerging technologies Oversee HIPAA compliance and data privacy regulations, including breach response and risk mitigation activities Required qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active bar membership in good standing in the United States 7+ years of legal experience with at least three years in a law firm Extensive experience negotiating IT and vendor agreements Comprehensive expertise in privacy and HIPAA compliance Virtual Vocations Inc
