Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift)

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this role will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting. The nurse will work with Med-Surg/Telemetry patients as well as those recovering from cardiac procedures, including post-cath recovery. Familiarity with cardiac drips is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor and manage patients on cardiac drips.
• Assist in the recovery of post-cath patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience

• Candidate must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry is required.
• Proven experience handling cardiac drips and post-cath recovery cases.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
