CNC Programmer

CNC ProgrammerNyproMold is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our high-performance tooling team. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs used in the manufacturing of precision molds and components. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work that meets tight tolerances and production deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, modify, and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers using CAM softwareInterpret blueprints and CAD models to determine machining requirementsSelect appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategiesCollaborate with manufacturing and design personnel to ensure part requirements are metContinuously improving cycle times and machining processesEnsure compliance with safety standards and quality requirementsQualifications2+ years of CNC programming experience in a mold-making or precision machining environmentStrong understanding of G-code, tooling selection, and machining strategiesExperience with high-speed machining and tight tolerance work preferredAbility to read and interpret detailed technical drawingsKnowledge and experience machine various tool steelsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesPreferred SkillsExperience programming 5-axis CNC machinesExperience using MastercamFamiliarity with mold manufacturing processesUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principlesExperience with ERP systems and production trackingWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCareer growth opportunities within a growing organizationClean, climate-controlled manufacturing environmentThe hourly pay range for this role is $23.89 - $43.03.
