Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced adult community emergency department with a high admission rate
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:3–4, delivering care across top diagnoses including stroke, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac conditions, and orthopedic cases
• Perform and interpret 12-lead EKGs, cardiac telemetry, cardioversion, and defibrillation
• Manage IV insertion, PICC lines, and central lines
• Administer procedural sedation and manage advanced airway support including CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and trach care
• Uphold high standards of customer service and team collaboration in a high-volume emergency setting

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong Emergency Department clinical skills
• Proficiency in IV insertion and PICC/central line management
• Ability to obtain 12-lead EKGs and perform tele interpretation, cardioversion, and defibrillation
• Experience with procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and trach care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Experience with behavioral health patients and chemical dependency cases
