Role Surgical/Obstetric Technologist Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect technical care to patients across age groups, supporting safe and effective invasive surgical procedures. Follow established practices, standards, and policies. Complete required competencies and perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma and graduation from an accredited surgical technology program. Certification from NBSTSA (CST) or NCCT (TS-C) is required. Active healthcare provider BLS certification is necessary, with AHA Healthcare Provider BLS obtained within 60 days of hire. Skills & Key Duties Assist in surgical procedures, ensure patient safety, adhere to standards, and support a team-oriented healthcare environment. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, professionalism, and compliance with certification and certification standards.
