Invasive Cardiology Registered Nurse

Location: York, PA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift - 4x10-hour shifts between 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM; flexibility to stay until the last patient is cared for.

Job Description: The Invasive Cardiology Registered Nurse will work in a specialized unit dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients undergoing advanced cardiovascular procedures. This role requires strong clinical skills, particularly in the EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab, with a focus on patient safety and procedural compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Invasive Cardiology unit, including catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patients pre and post-operatively to ensure safety and recovery.
• Administer medications and maintain IV access as required.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in invasive cardiology.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is strongly preferred.
