Physical Therapist AssistantThe Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) and in accordance with agency policies and state practice to provide essential physical therapy services that align with each patient's plan of care.ResponsibilitiesDeliver treatment to patients as prescribed, following evaluations established by the RPT.Assist patients with active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, gait and functional training, and activities of daily living.Utilize various equipment, including ultra-violet lamps, diathermy, and ultrasonic machines, for therapeutic treatments.Observe, record, and report patients' reactions to treatment and changes in their conditions to the RPT.Educate patients and caregivers on self-care techniques and appropriate activities.Coordinate with health agencies for the use of necessary equipment for patients.Complete and submit accurate clinical notes and required documentation in a timely manner.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureAssociate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting (PTA).Must be licensed in New Hampshire or Vermont.Valid Driver's License and agency-level auto insurance required.ScheduleThis position is a day shift role.Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
