We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join the Autonomous Weapons Branch (H63) team, where he/she will be responsible for the development and integration of autonomy and artificial intelligence (AAI) enabled weapon systems.

The primary focus of this role will involve developing complex parametric models to evaluate the performance of elements within a passive automated kill chain, encompassing sensor specifications, computer vision and perception autonomy, multi sensor fusion, and engagement autonomy. This modeling effort will be vital for informing the selection of subsystems and prioritizing automation development for passive kill chain capabilities. Beyond modeling, the individual will provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support, conduct Science and Technology (S&T) investigations into computer vision or automation technology, and deliver comprehensive written reports. The Data Scientist will collaborate effectively with Systems Engineers to link system modeling to engineering requirements and partner with Software Developers to provide prototype automation software deliverables to meet mission objectives.

A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements. The projected annual compensation range for this position is $110,220 - $162,060 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
