Supervisor Nurse Manager in Fairfax, VA

Take an active role in launching a new pharmacy and infusion suite as the leading clinical professional responsible for high-quality nursing care and operational excellence. This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to shape nursing services from the ground up, caring for patients both onsite and in their homes while managing acute and specialty infusion therapies.


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (variable)
• On-call rotation required (nights/weekends)
• Must be available during all operating hours and for emergencies
• Travel of up to 1 hour in one direction to patient homes, including those with animals and cigarette smoke

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect skilled nursing, including infusion in-suite and home settings
• Implement and oversee physician orders, ensuring appropriate nursing care standards
• Select, train, and motivate allied health staff as the department grows
• Monitor and support staff orientation, continued clinical competence, and timely evaluations
• Oversee accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate in planning, policy development, and operational decisions affecting nursing care
• Uphold all professional certifications and compliance standards

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN required, MSN preferred)
• Active RN license in good standing
• At least 2 years' experience in home infusion, specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy, or critical care
• Minimum 1 year of recent supervisory/administrative management in relevant care settings
• Pediatric nursing experience highly valued
• Advanced nursing certification (CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred
• Clinical strength in handling all IV therapies and vascular access devices
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Valid driver's license with no significant restrictions
