Job Description: Position Summary and Purpose the Supply Coordinator ensures that all areas assigned to them have the supplies they need. The supplies are managed through the MMIS system which the Supply Coordinator has a part in maintaining. Essential Functions: Processing of supply requisitions for assigned areas. Maintains the order guides and par carts withing the MMIS for all assigned areas. Coordinates product conversions to ensure proper implementation for their assigned areas. Helps to coordinate supply storage changes with the department. Acts as a supply liaison for their assigned department handling a supply needs. Tracks orders to ensure that supplies are received in a timely and appropriate manner. Tracks backorders and follows up with purchasing and the department to get product in. This can include finding a different supplier or a different substitute product that meets the departments need. Other Functions: Maintains compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of conduct Complies with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all times Performs other duties as assigned Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Licensure and Certification) Education: Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) Experience: Three (3) years inventory control, organization, identification in a warehouse environment (required) Job Competency: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities critical to this role: Proven knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionality Demonstrated information research skills related to inventory management Exemplifies service excellence - responsive, informs constituents of process, pleasant to work with, educates and provides timely, accurate information Displays strong organizational skills - manages time effectively, keeps tasks appropriately prioritized and delegates appropriately; works proactively- anticipates and plans for problems before they arise; is able to perform work in a neat, efficient, well-coordinated, well communicated manner with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism Displays strong work ethic - motivated, diligent, industrious and persistent in the workplace, stays on tasks to completion, works at a fast pace to ensure optimal efficiency; remains flexible - ability to change directions, as needed, to ensure optimal outcomes Displays strong interpersonal skills- can build effective, strong working relationships with employees, colleagues, management and vendors through trust, communication, and credibility; displays self-awareness and emotional intelligence, exercises sound judgement Language Ability: Must be able to communicate effectively in English in both verbal and written formats Reasoning Ability: Able to critically think through complex situations, process improvements, evidence-based practice.
