HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MATERIAL HANDLER IN HOUSTON, TX

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Material Handler to join our team in Houston, Texas. This individual will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials while supporting production and machine shop operations. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, can safely operate material handling equipment, and is comfortable working with machinery and engineering specifications. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• $21-$23/hr based on experience
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 1st Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm
• Located in Houston, TX

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack, and organize materials using manual methods, forklifts, and other equipment
• Read work orders and follow instructions to transport materials to designated areas
• Count, weigh, label, and maintain accurate records of materials and production activity
• Safely operate forklifts and industrial equipment to load trucks and move products
• Set up and operate saws to cut tubular steel according to instructions, drawings, and blueprints
• Maintain accurate records of steel inventory and completed cuttings
• Operate additional machinery as needed to complete production processes
• Assist with machine shop operations and support the day-to-day activities of Saw Operators
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1-3 months of related experience or training; manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and complete forklift certification
• Ability to read work instructions, engineering drawings, and blueprints
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, MSDS, and HMIS labels preferred
• Ability to work under supervision and follow safety procedures
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working around machinery, moderate noise, fumes, and other manufacturing conditions
