Project Manager

This position is hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday onsite). The office is located in OakBrook, IL. Overview Our client is seeking a Junior Project Manager to play a pivotal role in driving operations for an impactful New Business Project. This opportunity allows you to sharpen your expertise across project administration, data analytics, and cross-functional coordination within a dynamic team setting. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project schedules, monitoring deliverables, managing project budgets, handling contract administration, and facilitating clear communication with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Responsibilities Assist with managing project schedules, tracking key deliverables, and monitoring project timelines for new business initiatives. Handle budget tracking, contract administration, invoice reconciliation, and financial reporting. Build and maintain analytical reports, dashboards, and data models using Advanced Excel and Power BI. Organize and manage project documentation and records using SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite. Enter, track, and maintain operational data across enterprise platforms, including SAP and/or Asset Suite. Facilitate stakeholder communication, support project team meetings, and prepare status reports. Collaborate with team members to address project needs and ensure milestones are completed on schedule. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 1 to 5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or data analysis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis capabilities. Technical proficiency with Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and enterprise software such as SAP and/or Asset Suite. Hands-on experience with project scheduling and tracking, contract administration, invoice reconciliation, budget tracking, and reporting. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
