About the Role:
RD Excavating Inc is looking for a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our hardworking team in Burbank, OH. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dedicated crew in the heavy haul trucking industry, where your work makes a real impact every day on the job site.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive commercial trucks to transport materials, equipment, and excavation equipment to and from job sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Coordinate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure timely material delivery
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo in accordance with DOT regulations
- Safely maneuver trucks in tight or challenging job site conditions
- Assist with loading and unloading of equipment as needed
- Keep truck clean, fueled, and in proper working condition
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required-Class A, 5 years experience
- Previous experience in heavy haul trucking preferred
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to operate tractor & trailer
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Clean driving record preferred
