Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Rockford that are seeking Warehouse Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures to optimize efficiency, safety, and productivity.
• Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling.
• Ensure accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts and reconciliation, minimizing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company and regulatory standards.
• Optimize space utilization and material flow within the warehouse to maximize storage capacity and operational efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to optimize inventory control systems and improve logistical efficiency
• Strong understanding of safety regulations (OSHA) and quality control standards
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including staff supervision, training, and performance management
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) beyond basic functionality.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage automation technologies (e.g., AS/RS, robotics).
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
• Bilingual proficiency, especially in languages common among the workforce.
