Press Op Responsibilities:
- Set up complicated sheet metal stamping dies
- Set up and operate in-line feeders, coil stock reels and various support equipment
- Follow all safety rules
- Must be consciences about PPE Wear gloves when welding, picking up metal or any time you feel your hands may need protection
- Check parts to be sure "dull" tooling doesn't cause an excessive burr conditions
- Do miscellaneous work as requested by the lead person
- Responsible for creating procedures, adapting and following the duties as described in the Quality Systems
Requirements for Press Op:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- No experience need, will train
- Must be able to read English
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs. at least every hour a shift
- Standing and or sitting entire shift depending on parts that need to be assembled
