Cyber Security Analyst

The Opportunity As a cyber security specialist, you will utilize experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF), system updates, patches, and scans to maintain cyber compliance, while performing eMASS administration to support next‑gen software solutions for the U.S. military. You will identify and evaluate potential weaknesses, communicate technical challenges to customers, and work with eMASS to meet schedule‑driven requirements for system Authority to Operate (ATO). Responsibilities In this role, you will understand system capabilities and associated cyber posture, identify and evaluate potential weaknesses, provide direct communications to the Customer to articulate technical challenges, risks, and solution options, and maintain and upgrade deployed systems on tactical networks. You will also lead efforts to modernize and streamline the DevSecOps process, mentor teammates, and resolve daily challenges to improve warfighter lethality, awareness, and decision‑making across the battle space. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a cyber security analyst with adherence to NETCOM’s RMF process 5+ years of experience with monitoring and cybersecurity tools such as ACAS Security Center, Evaluate STIG, SCAP, STIG Viewer, and Nessus Scanner 5+ years of experience using eMASS and generating the artifacts required for an Army ATO or Interim Authority to Test (IATT) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Knowledge of system hardening and security best practices Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Cybersecurity Nice to Have Experience configuring and hardening RHEL 8, 9, 10, or various Windows Operating Systems Experience with virtualization technologies including VMWare, Hypervisor, or KVM Ability to perform shell scripting and automation in Bash, Python, or Ansible Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
